New Year’s Resolutions

As I say goodbye to 2009 and hello to 2010, I begin to think about the things that I want to change in my life. Yes, I am one of those people who always makes goals when it comes to the new year. Do I always keep them? Well, we won’t go there. I do start each year with the intention of achieving my new goals. This year, my goals are as follows:

  • Attend Bikram Yoga on Monday nights.
  • Eat sweets only on Sunday.
  • Spend more time on hobbies like reading and less time in front of the television.

My theme word for the year will be “appreciate.” Hopefully, it will inspire me to appreciate each day, appreciate the ones that I love, and also appreciate the small things in life that make for enjoyable moments.

Happy New Year!

  1. I wish you that you can keep your promises to your self. I liked the one with chocolate only on Sunday šŸ™‚ I think I'll do that too, because I wanted not to eat chocolate at all anymore…smile… so, that means, don't be so hard to your self :)Great post! HAPPY NEW YEAR!

  2. Hi! Just got caught up with this blog, great pictures and great resolutions and observations.Z and I have always wanted to live in San Francisco, but it's never really been feasible. Now that we live in Portland, I at least hope we can visit it more often.
